The School of Northeast Asia Studies is a key institution in the construction of Shandong University's Double First-Class disciplines.In2017,The discipline of Northeast Asian Studies has been incorporated into Shandong University's "Peak Discipline Construction Plan", emerging as an interdisciplinary discipline within the University's world-class discipline framework. The School currently comprises three departments: the Department of Korean Studies, the Department of Japanese Studies, and the Department of International Politics and Economics. These departments collectively offer a comprehensive talent cultivation system, covering undergraduate, master's, doctoral and postdoctoral programs in the disciplines of political scienceandforeign languages&literature. Since its establishment, the School has consistently aligned its development with national strategic priorities, aiming to establish a first-class discipline and platform of regional and country studies in China. Its mission is to cultivate high-level, specalized and global-minded talents capable of adapting to the evolving needs of the new era, with a strong competitive edge in the international arena.
