Expert Meeting on National Social Science Fund Project at School of Northeast Asia Studies

On the morning of January 6, 2020, our School held an in-house expert meeting on the 2020 National Social Science Fund project application. 6 experts from political science, economics, literature and other related disciplines and 5 applicants participated in the meeting. Master and PhD students also attended as audiences.

The meeting was presided over by Vice Dean Zhang Jingquan. Project applicants took turns making personal statements on the purpose and significance of their selected topic, research review, research structure, research approach, and research references. Subsequently, Professor Zhang Yunling, Zhao Yupu, Zhang Jingquan, Jin Zhe, Fang Haofan, and Liu Baoquan gave specific and feasible suggestions on preferable improvements and gave detailed guidance for applicants’ reference.

This Expert Meeting has given full play to the guiding role of experts in our School in the area of project application, which is not only conducive to applicants to broaden their ideas and improve their form-filling abilities, but also helps less-experienced teachers to explore new directions for future academic research.
